As a leading Darwin based Chartered Accounting firm we provide a full range of services, covering audit and assurance, tax, accounting, business and management advice, and SMSF administration services.

Merit Partners was established in 2004 when we took over the existing Darwin office of Ernst & Young.

The Directors of Merit Partners are long term Territorians who have collectively gained a wealth of commercial knowledge and experience internationally, nationally and locally. Together with our large team of professional and support staff we offer personable and dedicated accounting services.

The diversity of our clients’ industries and financial turnover is a testament to the depth and breadth of our expertise across major industries and complexities of business structures. Where specialist engagements require further technical assistance and/or additional industry expertise we call on the services of Ernst & Young Australia, with whom we have a national affiliation through our Technical Services Agreement.

Each year Merit Partners plays a vital role in trying to prevent their staff from falling ill with the flu by giving them the opportunity to be inoculated. Merit Partners, along with Health for Industry, hold an “on premises clinic” on an annual basis for those staff wishing to receive the Flu injection.
