On 1 March 2004 Merit Partners took over the premises and retained the staff of the Ernst & Young Australia Darwin Office. Up until this point, Ernst & Young Australia had maintained an office in Darwin for 25 years and enjoyed an enviable reputation within the Northern Territory as a provider of high quality accounting services. To this day, Merit Partners continue their close affiliation with Ernst & Young through an ongoing technical services agreement.
